About Us

Gurukul Music Training Institute is a socio cultural organisation was established on 12th January, 2012 at Shibbari link Road No 4, Dharmanagar, North Tripura. Our organisation is registered under the societies act 1860 No 8632 of 2021 as a new name "GURUKUL Socio Cultural Organisation" from the date of registration i.e 9th August, 2021. Now we also have a branch in Agartala, West Tripura. Here training in Geet, Vadya, Nritya and Painting is imparted by experienced teachers with degrees from Rabindra Bharati University and Tripura University. It spread the test for the first diminishing genre of Indian classical music in society. Our organisation is already been registered from Information and Cultural Affairs, Government of Tripura.

At Gurukul, our mission is to nurture and develop the musical talents of our students, providing them with a solid foundation and encouraging them to pursue their passion for music.
We take immense pride in our team of highly accomplished and experienced music instructors who will guide and inspire you along your musical journey. Our curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with practical application.

Gharowa Shastriya Sangeet Sandhya, or a classical music concert held at home, holds great importance in preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Indian classical music. GURUKUL started Ghorowa Sastriya Sangeet Sandhya from August 2019, alternative in Dharmanagar and Agartala. 

Holding a classical music sandhya in the comfort of one's home allows for a more intimate and personal experience. The audience can be small and engaged, creating a conducive environment for both the artist and the listeners to connect on a deeper level.
